Congratulations Ryder and Madison!

This week Ryder received our REACH reward for having a fantastic attitude towards learning, especially with speech writing, and for doing his fair share when working with others.  Well done also to Madison who received the Year 5 REACH draw reward 🌟

Olympic Games Images

We have been creating images about the Olympic Games in our Cybersmart lessons. 

To finish the Olympic Torch we had to trace using polyline and curve line tools, flip the shape horizontally and recolour it. We found this really tricky. To create our own pictogram we could use shapes and line tools.

Room 8's new photo

 Room 8 have had a fabulous start to the term.  Here they are before heading out to morning tea.  

Matariki Stop Motion Animations

 At the end of term 2 in our Cybersmart lesson we read a story about Matariki and then made a stop motion animation in Google Slides. 

We had lots that we could choose to include like the names of the stars, combining shapes to make a new star shape, include a title, choosing different colours and using the Explore Tool to find a suitable background.
